What routes do you use to get to/from France ?
As well as travelling via Calais and Dunkerque, we have an account with all the ferry companies and use Brittany Ferries sailings from Portsmouth to F14 Caen and from Poole to F50 Cherbourg for deliveries to Brittany, Loire Valley and the west coast. We also use the routes Portsmouth / F76 Le Havre and Newhaven / F76 Dieppe for deliveries to Normandy, Paris area and Central France.
Do you deliver to/collect from all of mainland France?
Yes. We cover the whole of France for both export and import loads.
What trailers do you operate?
We mainly run standard and sliding roof tautliners, but have also got access to some mega trailers, as well as some flat bed trailers and low loaders for abnormal / out of gauge shipments.
What if I don’t have enough freight for a full load?
We do handle part loads as well as full loads. We have got regular part loads services to and from France. We run several groupage trailers a week to and from most areas in France, so contact us to talk about your requirements.
Can you do deliveries in France with a tail-lift?
Yes, we can and regularly do so. We do not have any export trailers equipped with a tail-lift, so will drop the goods at one of our local depots for a domestic redelivery on a vehicle with a tail-lift.
What is the likely transit time?
Every load is different and we transit time is tailored to best meet our customers’ needs.
Do you operate on French public holidays?
There is a driving ban on French public holidays, so all deliveries or collections will take place the next working day.
